World's best and worst airports

Travel Guide experts Frommer’s has issued lists of what it considers to be the world’s best and worst airport terminals - with some interesting choices.

A new terminal at NZ’s Wellington airport, which at first glance looks like a model of Ayers Rock, is rated fourth-best. Terminal 3 at New York’s JFK airport is rated fifth-best, but Terminal 5 at the same airport heads the list of world’s worst.

Topping the list of 10 best terminals in the world is the Hajj Terminal at Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah airport. It’s in use only six weeks a year, for the annual Muslim pilgrimage.
